The beautifully preserved traditional rooms provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxing café visit or for celebrating life’s most memorable occasions.

Authentic flavours made from the finest local ingredients

Quality and locality are at the heart of everything we do. Everything we serve is homemade in our own kitchen using only genuine, high-quality ingredients. We work closely with local producers across Kainuu, allowing us to serve locally caught fish, fresh eggs and other regional delicacies. We also make the most of seasonal ingredients from nature, with hand-picked local berries and wild forest mushrooms playing a starring role in many of our dishes and baked goods.

In addition to our summer café, Ikola Vicarage Café serves as a charming venue for private events and catering. We are delighted to help you celebrate life’s special moments, including weddings, birthdays, memorial gatherings and corporate events. Our beautiful homemade buffet selections feature everything from generously filled savoury sandwich cakes to elegant celebration cakes made especially for your occasion.
