Welcome to spend an experiential orienteering and holiday week for the whole family

Kainuu Orienteering Week is one of the biggest orienteering events in Finland.

Kainuu Orienteering Week in brief:
Four competition days (racing series and open series) and two intermediate days

• The schedule of the week is usually as follows: 1st leg, intermediate day, 2nd leg, intermediate day, 3rd leg and 4th leg
• The racing series have age series H/D8-95
• The fitness orienteering fitness series (open series) have 10 different skill levels, from courses for children under school age to tracks intended for competitive orienteers and top orienteers.
• Kainuu MTBO Week
  • 4 different races for both racing series and fitness orienteering

Competition centre has the following services:

• Restaurant and café services (lunch, café, barbecue, cooking station, delicatessen, candy and ice cream and plush, etc.)
• Showers and toilets
• Childcare facility (Muksula)
• Rally adventure track
• Dog boarding place (dog park)
• Sporting goods shops and local vendors (souvenirs and handicrafts)
