Swimming Hall

The swimming hall has a large pool and a small pool. The large pool is 25 metres long and has five lanes, with a maximum depth of 1.90 metres and a water temperature of +27°C. The small pool measures 10 × 5 metres, has a maximum depth of 0.8 metres and a water temperature of +30°C.

The maximum visit time is 1 hour and 30 minutes, including changing and showering. The swimming hall aims to operate in a more environmentally responsible way. Therefore, visitors are asked to bring their own small towel or other suitable seat cover for use in the sauna. Disposable seat covers can be purchased at the reception for €0.50 each.

The swimming hall has a kiosk selling refreshments, sweets, swimming goggles and other swimming accessories. Visitors can also rent swimwear, swimming goggles and towels. Keys for winter swimming at Ruukinranta and for the gym at the Kalevala Sports Centre are also available at the swimming hall.

The swimming hall was completed in 1983.

Swimming hall prices. Visitors turning 50 can swim free of charge during their birthday month, while those celebrating their name day receive a 50% discount on admission.
