Lentiira River Route as a Fishing Destination

Destination introduction:

The Lentiira river route is an excellent destination for kayak and hiking fishing along the waterway. The fish species you may encounter include perch, pike, zander, and also noble fish (such as trout).
The riverbanks are partly sandy, which adds comfort to a summer fishing adventure along the waterways.

The best starting points are from the Käntinsalmi boat launch site or the Rannantie boat launch site. The route is approximately 20 km long (Käntinsalmi – Rannantie). Along the way, there is a lean-to shelter and the Ränkkä wilderness hut, making it possible to enjoy a fishing adventure lasting several days.

At the Lentiira end of the route, you’ll find Lentiira Holiday Village, which offers a wide range of services to complement your holiday. The riverbanks also echo with history, so it’s worth checking the excursion map with a curious mind.
