Kalevala camping

In the beautiful pine forest area by Lake Lammasjärvi’s sandy shore in the Tönölä region, approximately 4 kilometers from the town center, there are lodge accommodations, tent spaces, camper and caravan sites, as well as apartment accommodations. The area offers basic amenities, a beach, saunas, and a smoke sauna. Equipment rentals are also available.

From the camping area’s sandy beach, there’s access to the Harakkasaari hiking trail within the Lentua Nature Reserve. The trail leads along stunning ridges with a designated nature path and a campfire spot. Harakkasaari has been a popular destination for generations, even among locals.
