The World Championships of Rönttönen Crimping and a Celebration of Kuhmo Cuisine

The Rönttönen Crimping World Championships, held in Kuhmo in summer 2026, will bring together Kainuu’s culinary traditions, community spirit, and light-hearted competition. The event celebrates the Kainuu rönttönen as a part of local cultural heritage and invites everyone to join in experiencing, tasting, and crimping.
