Rapids

Lakes that attract trolling enthusiasts include the pristine natural waters of Iivantiira, Lentua, Änätti, Kellojärvi, and Lammasjärvi, as well as the regulated lake Ontojärvi, which is also excellent for fishing. Syväjärvi Recreational fishing area

Syväjärvi is a two-part, clear-watered forest lake located approximately 20 kilometers from the center of Kuhmo (Pohjoispuolentie 1940). Both ends of the lake are deep with steep shores. The landscape is dominated by dry pine forests, and to the north of the lake rises Syväjärvensärkkä. There is an easy-going, approximately 6 km long lakeside trail around the lake, with several campfire spots along the way. Stocked with catch-sized rainbow trout, Syväjärvi offers fishing experiences throughout the year. It is an excellent destination for fishing and hiking, suitable for families and groups alike.
