Kuhmo – Jääkaudelta kasarille

The series of locally produced premieres will continue in summer 2026. Audiences can look forward to a fast-paced and delightfully offbeat journey through history, where Kuhmo’s past is explored with a twinkle in the eye.

The premiere celebrates the 40th anniversary of the City of Kuhmo and is part of the Oulu2026 programme year.

People often say that everything used to be better and that the younger generation has always been spoiled — yet despite that, this patch of land revealed by the Ice Age has, over time, developed into a remarkably vibrant cultural town.
